The Mermaid in the Cactus Garden

I fell in love with this light turquoise color of the bathing suit and thought it contrasted beautifully with my pink hair.
I had all these vision stir-up in my head of getting amazing shots at the beach with the pastel sunset, white sand, and palm trees, until my photographer turned the whole image around.
She suggested exploring this cactus garden instead…
smart decision.

This place is so beautiful; I definitely fell in love with cacti. They are so oddly admiring and I couldn't help but stare at them wondering how they exist.
Something about being in that scenery was very tranquilizing, and it brought me good vibes.
Hope you enjoy the color scheme as much as I do.

And so the mermaid lost herself in the cactus garden...

I See, I Admire

If I had to choose my favorite place in Tokyo, it would have to be Harajuku.
Its the shopping (obviously), purikura, crepes, street art, and the Meiji Shrine (I think thats what sells it for me).
I love everything about the intense exhibition of pop culture there along with the tranquility of nature.
I also enjoy the 12min walk from there to Shibuya ;]

I see it all; I admire its beauty.

Later that day, we made our adventures into the artistic little town in Tokyo known as Koenji.
The most interesting part was that they're were some amazing street art and tiny hole-in-the-wall shops that people just pass by without any attention.
The art and unique shops seem to just exist for itself, and only those who are lucky enough to cross its path get to see the gems it preserves.

Sadly, it was inevitable for the day to end, so we made the Meiji Shrine our last spot.
I believe that the Meiji Shrine is special because it usually gets forgotten by the overbearing flashy colors in Harajuku st., located right on the opposite side, which attracts all the attention.
Little do people know what's on the other side of the the Harajuku train station that separates the two.
It's one of my favorite places.

Wonders in the World of Blue

The uncertainties and spontaneous moments in life are what makes it so exhilarating and interesting.
My little story about this day manifests it very well.

Throughout this trip, we longed to visit Mt. Fuji. There was not a sign of hesitation nor doubt that we would make it there because its such a mythical place to see; we couldn't miss the chance.
We started our mission from the Shibuya Station. We chose to take the train because it seemed to be faster than the bus.
From the moment I purchased my ticket at the counter, my understanding of getting there was vague because the man didn't know a word of English. It wasn't a big deal because I knew I could figure it out as I usually do.
The first train we get on turned out to be the wrong train, and we didn't know until half-way through the ride. We disembarked the train immediately and waited  for the right train to come which said to come in another half an hour.
We calculated the time and approximated that it would take at least 3 more hours to get there making our ETA around 5:30. Damn….we thought; thats too late. On top of that, we read that the mountain is on "off-season," which meant all the trails were closed.
Thats when we made the spontaneous change of mission to go to Disney Sea instead. We got there in less than an hour and all was beyond well.

The rain drifted the crowd away, and arriving after 6pm granted us the the discounted prices of their "Night Passport."
I wonder whether we were destined from the start to have fun at Disney or come by spontaneity…either way, it gifted me moments I will never forget.

Basic Spice Girl

With a halter top that tastes like orange Fanta,
a set of white Persian cats on my feet,
Dr. Seuss fluffs sitting in my hair,
and a charm that labels my booty "sexy,"

I am basic.
