Like the Pink Petals on the Streets

I'm sweet since I enjoy simplicity. The Pink.
I'm delicate since I'm sensible. The White.
I'm tough and rough since I search for truths. The Black.
I have the drive to live spontaneously. The Silver.
In translating these traits into colors, a coordinate is created.

Thus I act like a rose, but live like a mob.

A Hunt for a Hair Salon

I have been looking for a really good hair salon in Tokyo that has great service for low prices.
I am not a fan of going to all of those trendy hair salons located in the center of Shinjuku or Shibuya because it doesn't necessarily mean that they are the best salons.
Most of the are over-priced, so I prefer going to salons that are on the lower-key.

My friend took me to 美容室TBK 明大前店
This beauty salon is located in Meidaimae, Tokyo;
a 5 minute walk from the Meidaimae station taking the New Keio Line.
The TBK beauty salon is a chain (you can pretty much find many other locations) but the owner of this location is magic.

The owner, Koyama-san, is the sweetest and most talented guy you'll meet. He could tell right off what kind of damage my hair was in and knew the best solution for it.

He gave me a deep conditioning/ intensive-care hair treatment. This treatment included coating my hair with collagen as well.

My hair made me look like a complete different person. He did such a great job and for a good price.
Koyama-san is also an anime fan, so his salon was beautifully decorated with the cutest anime characters and figures all around. His place is an artwork in of its self.
This place is definitely a gem.

My hair hasn't been this healthy and shiny in a while.
So happy!

My Sexy Tokyo Banana

So what is all this craze about the famous Tokyo Banana?
I was very curious myself, so my grandma bought me some to try when we went to the Tokyo Skytree.

I didn't exactly get the original banana cream one, but I tried the chocolate one instead since the packaging looked so adorable with the leopard prints.

As for my review?
It was actually not all that great as it seemed.
Maybe the banana cream is better because the chocolate and banana flavor together made it a little too artificial-tasting to me.
It lacked the fresh banana taste I hoped for.

Health Nut Dailies

I believe that eating clean and taking care of yourself is such an important thing to maintain on an everyday basis. It can get hard to keep up when you're busy with a billion other things to worry about.
However, I've been living a healthy lifestyle for quite sometime.

I want to share with you how I recently been taking care of myself…

Right when I wake up I drink a bottle of COLLAGEN!!!

Between the two brands I tried (Shiseido & Tsubaki), I recommend taking the

Shiseido "The Collagen Enriched"

It really helps make your skin look plump and glowing

A must for healthy skin and hair.

When I was in Shin-Okubo, I noticed that they were promoting this "Inner-B" Beauty drink everywhere. It was at like EVERY beauty product store!

Along with one bottle of collagen drink a day, I drink glass of water and my daily vitamins.

I can't skip breakfast!
One of my favorites is NATTO!!!

It is traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans with Bacillus Subtilis; however, it is known for smelling like fart

Yes, it is slimy, strong in smell/flavor, but I think the yummy taste overrides its negative qualities.

I LOVE IT

Its low fat/ calorie and rich in protein which is perfect for me since I like to keep in shape!!!

Then I start my usual pilates and core-work out.

Living in LA I would jog or take dance classes, but since its too hot to exercise outside in Japan and since I live in a small apartment, I have altered my exercise:
  • 10 mins of crunches/ sit-ups
  • 20 push-ups
  • 3 mins of quads
  • 5-10 mins stretching

I always keep myself hydrated.
drinking lots of water = healthier skin
Personally, I drink Omugi Wakaba (young barley grass juice) everyday.

It is a powder tea mix that I add to my water bottles.

This I can't go on a day without drinking a bottle of this.

It is loaded with chlorophyll, dietary fiber, and helps regulate the digestive system and de-toxing

And it provides a good balance of vitamins and minerals.
It is also combined with beauty components (ceramide and collagen).

You can buy it at some Japanese markets.

My lunches consist of veggies and lean protein.

salmon salad
miso mackerel and asparagus

Whats better than to end your day relaxing in a BATH?
I take a bath everyday since I started staying here!

This is my favorite bath salt.
It works as a full body de-tox since it contains a type of germ
It also generates sweating to remove unwanted substances and other junk in your body.
Plus its r e l a x i n g ~

Walking in the Sky

Today I went to visit the
T O K Y O   S K Y T R E E
Located in Sumida, Tokyo, it is the tallest structure in Japan!

Here's my ticket to take an elevator ride up to the observation level called the "Tembo Deck" reaching 350m high!
Cost is only 2,000yen which is so worth it.
The only downside was that the line to actually buy the ticket was about 40mins waiting time (and today was considered a lesser busy day than usual)!

The view was incredible. Such a special way to see all of Tokyo.
It was a little cloudy, which kind of dissapointed me, but I couldn't complain. Still amazing.
View of the Sumida River and Asakusa on the other side of it.

 Wait theres more!!
If you pay only 1,000yen more, you get to take another elevator ride up to the highest point of the tower known as the "Tembo Galleria" (450m high).
Of course I didn't want to miss that opportunity since I was already there.

Felt like I was walking in the sky.
I'm not really scared of heights, but it did make my heart flutter when I stood on the glass floor.

Not only does the Tower have the amazing views and operate as broadcasting tower, but the lower levels have so much to do.
They have a shopping center, restaurants, and even an aquarium!

We relaxed at a really nice Italian cafe called "Viva Napoli" and had coffee and a delicious fruit tart.

Then it was shopping time YAY!
The shopping center there is called Tokyo Solamachi.
They have a bunch of clothing stores, gift stores, and a huge food hall where you can sample and buy speciality foods and snacks.

I just thought the food displays were so cool.
They were really expensive though so just fun to admire.

So happy I ran into one of my fave stores Wakatsuki <3 Chinatsu

So adorable inside. I wanted to buy everything. Definitely the cutest brand.

Can I be one of them pwetty pweeeze????

I had to buy the famous "Tokyo Banana" when I was there. I can't wait to try it!!

FIG&VIPER Store Opening

One of my favorite brands, FIG&VIPER had 2 new stores opening in Harajuku's La Foret and Shinjuku's Lumine Est.

I went to the one in La Foret on Aug. 23rd.

 And looky who I met.

Alisa Ueno.
Producer & model for FIG&VIPER.
She was super sweet and so cute in person. Her pictures don't lie. Love this chick <3 She's just as cool as her style.
Can't stand her next to me.

Adorable shop staff. Everyone was cute as hell.

I really wanted these shorts. They looked so rad. . . . .hmm should I?
I think I'll get them when I visit the Lumine Est. store then >w<

But I did get the dope TRILL hat for now! Special edition since it comes with their Lookbook.
