Hums from the Lavender Field

I love staying with my grandmother in Nagoya because she lives next to a fairly large park named the Arakogawa-koen. 

The best time to visit this park is during June where the lavender blossoms, and the park hold festivals for it; I'm lucky to have picked this time to visit since I adore lavender. 

One of my favorite treats here that I look forward to get every visit is their lavender ice-cream. It is unlike lavender ice cream made anywhere else…so dreamy.

I fill my YRU "black sunrise"with the lavender petals from the fields to keep with me as I flutter across the world.

The Lonely Hearts Club

There are many pretty little angels who exist,

Dreaming of a Silky Satin Babe

What captures a little girl's heart 

is not a life with a white picket fence, 

a vintage baby blue car, nor a man who's smart,

but the way the satin pink feels to her sense,

Fur by the Poolside

With my oversized circular pink-tinted glasses,

I gaze into my glittery lava lamp until hypnosis.

Lost in time and space until reality surpasses, 

I believe thats what the 70's guru says.

I love collaborating with foreign brands because you get a glimpse of how their lifestyle, culture, and environment reflects their fashion. This particular brand is made in Spain.

I have not seen any brand in Los Angeles make street clothing like this. The material they use is very thick and sturdy to resist the harsh weather. The verbiage on their clothing is, lets just say, not the type of attention I would want to get walking around my hood. 

That's exactly why I love gearing up in this; it makes me feel different and takes my attitude to a new place.
